During
the conference and due to the support of different companies we will
have prizes for young researchers.

Neuroendocrinology.
Application for
the Prize will be presented by a Senior scientist that will send to the
Organizing Committee of the International Meeting on Steroids and

The

The
winner of the prize will present a short summary of his/her researches
(no more than 15 minutes) as a formal
lecture during the social dinner. In addition the
winner will submit a review paper to Journal of Neuroendocrinology
that, after peer review, will publish the contribution in the
special section Young Neuroendocrinologists Prize Reviews.
Young
Investigators symposium
As
in previous editions of our conference, the scientific and the
educational committtes will select a few contributions from young
participants
for oral presentation during a special session named Young
Investigators
symposium. The presentations
will be of 10 minutes including discussion.
Trainee
Poster
Competition
This competition will incorporate undergraduate students,
graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows. The trainees in each
of these categories will be evaluated independently. Trainees who
are first authors on abstracts submitted to the meeting are eligible to
register for the poster competition. Prizes will be awarded for the
most excellent research poster presentations in each category. The
posters will be judged based on the scientific merit of the research,
the effectiveness of the presentation, as well as the role of the
student in initiating and carrying out the research. It is
expected that the winning students will have been the primary
intellectual force behind the project.
