Modelli sperimentali utilizzati:

-    Cellule mesenchimali staminali umane ottenute da midollo osseo e da tessuto adiposo sottocutaneo;
-    Colture a lungo termine  di neuroblasti fetali umani normali;
-    Linee cellulari continue di neuroblastoma umano.
-    Colture primarie di adenomi ipofisari umani
 
Metodologie utilizzate:
-    Allestimento e mantenimento di colture cellulari primarie e a lungo termine;
-    Ottimizzazione di protocolli per il differenziamento osteoblastico, adipocitario e neuronale di cellule staminali mesenchimali;
-    Saggi di proliferazione (MTS, 3H-thymidine uptake, conta cellulare);
-    Saggi di adesione cellulare;
-    Immunocitochimica;
-    Saggi di transfezione cellulare
-    Real time PCR;
-    Western blotting;
-    PCR e RT-PCR;
-    Analisi di sequenze genomiche per la ricerca di sequenze responsive;
-    Saggi di transattivazione trascrizionale;
-    Ingegnerizzazione di plasmidi;
-    Tecniche di silenziamento genico
